PEGGY KA PUI OEI

Peggy graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor's of Social Sciences in International Studies and Modern Languages (French and Spanish) in 2008, and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2011. Peggy was called to the Bar in 2012.

Prior to founding Oei Law, Peggy completed Articling and subsequently practiced as an immigration lawyer at a well-established full-service immigration law firm for nearly a decade.

Throughout her years of practice, Peggy has represented clients in a wide range of immigration processes, including matters pertaining to citizenship, permanent residence, temporary status, persons in need of protection, and overcoming issues of inadmissibility. Peggy has also represented clients before all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada.

Oei Law was borne out of a desire to provide high quality legal representation particularly in Peggy’s areas of interests that have developed throughout her years of practice.

Peggy understands the complexities and nuances inherent to the various immigration processes in Canada. She strives to use her legal training and expertise to provide individuals and families confidence and peace of mind while achieving their immigration goals.

Peggy is married and is a proud mother of two children. She speaks English and Cantonese.
